Description
Mayland Community College, in partnership with TransTech, offers Class A CDL training. This program allows students to complete training in approximately 5 weeks in a hybrid setting.
Questions & Answers
What are the admissions requirements?
- Be at least 18 years of age; 21 for interstate commerce or hazardous materials endorsement
- Understand, speak, read, and write English proficiently as per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Association Regulations
- Provide a valid driver's license; license cannot be suspended, disqualified or revoked; cannot hold more than one driver's license
- Provide Social Security Card
- Acceptable driving record
- Pass a DOT physical and drug screen (this will be scheduled by the provider after your online training and is included in your tuition
- Attend orientation
- Complete pre-registration packet
How long is the CDL class?
Students will complete the class in 5 weeks. That's half the time of other institutions offering the same program!
What is the cost and is there financial assistance available to cover the cost of the class?
Cost of class: $1,000
